  1. Raped Teenage Girls Threatened With Fine

Two teenage girls who were raped, sexually assaulted, and robbed while taking a walk during Russia’s lockdown were threatened with fines for breaking the rules according to report by The Daily Mail.
The girls, aged 17 and 18, were attacked last month in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk when residents were banned from going outside except for emergencies

The incident took place on 20 April but the full horror of the attack they faced was only revealed now.
One of the girls was raped while the other was seriously sexually assaulted. They were also robbed of their jewellery and phones.
The case was reported to the police and a 55-year-old man has been arrested. The man had in possession, the stolen items. He is now facing five investigations including for sex crimes, robbery, and violence.
Also, police have fined the two teenagers for going outside to meet during the lockdown despite not having a valid reason. The fine is about £33 each.
At the time, residents were only allowed out their homes on limited pretexts such as walking a dog, going to see a doctor, or to a nearby shop or chemist. The girls were longtime friends but were not supposed to meet under the rules.
However, after the case attracted publicity the fines were suddenly dropped.
